‘It’s the urge to be understood and seen and supported by your tribe. When that tribe ignores it because they cannot understand or begin to imagine, and so often don’t know what to say, you then fall down to a new level of losing your identity a little more, and your soul screams out in anguish. Your world becomes even smaller (as if it couldn’t get any smaller). Campaigning is then the focus until things change, as many have done before us, but that takes allies too and we are still trying to build on that which often feels fruitless. Small seeds however grow into bigger things.’
