Amy our lovely model said that this dress felt so nice to wear, really comfortable and silky against the skin.

Dry clean or careful hand wash.

BUYER BEWARE! FAULT on the left sleeve, towards the top near the shoulder: there is a small tear in the fabric. This dress has been stored carefully on a hanger although now we have chosen to store it carefully folded with acid-free tissue paper to avoid any further stress to the fabric. It may have been the result of a moth as the rest of the fabric appears to be ok. Such is the nature of vintage fabrics. We’ve mended this and the photos show before and after pictures of the fault (before and after mending), so you can make your own judgement at point of purchase. Maybe it can be re-purposed as a sleeveless dress, using the arm material to make a matching headband for example. We’ve also added a photograph with a star patch sat on top to show you how it might look like this, making a statement from the mended area, using visible mending creativity!

The reduced price reflects this fault and the buyer purchases this knowingly. Even with this small fault, it is not too noticeable when on. The rest of the dress is in beautiful condition, albeit one or two tiny marks which for vintage we usually expect…a really vibrant piece!
